Canbus to Zumo failure

Hi,

The power to my Zumo 550 from the canbus has failed and I have no sense of direction....

Has this happened to anyone else and is there a fuse / simple fix or is it off to the dealer time...

Chances are it will be the zumo mount. They are famous for failing.

+1. have two mounts one for each GS. Now have to keep swapping them about. Power is not the issue, the mount is.

The Zumo mounts did have a problem with an ingress of water. I contacted Garmin and they replaced it as a good will gesture. Nice people these Garmin folk!

That is good (or bad) to know, I will contact Garmin.

Give the contacts on the mount and Zumo a good clean with a drop of metal polish on a cotton bud first. Sorted the issue for me twice now.
