hi all , i have a tom tom fitted to my 2008 adv. and it has stopped charging from the cradle, it is fitted into a plug dangling from the front just under the beak, i have been told this plug is used in the factory and then not used again and is a good feed, as there are no fuses to check has anyone got any clues to what might be happening,,, cheers

p.s my mechanical skills are very limited

Welcome.

I had one too, the cradle is well known for being shite. Not charging in the cradle is a well documented problem with TomToms - and the reason I'll never buy another.

That and the after sales service - equally shite.

100% The cradle, they're I've had two fail on me

If it was a canbus issue you'd have a the orange triangle of death up on the dash!
