Cannon BMW

Picked up my first bmw motorbike from cannons last friday, secondhand 1200 gsa with 4000 miles on the clock, tax ran out 2 days later and after being assured there was petrol in it that ran out too before i got to the A1(20 miles ish)

How do you get to the A1 in 20 miles from Braintree?

I USE CANNONS AND BOUGHT A R1200 GS ADVENTURE AND THE YOUNG SALESMAN WAS VERY HELPFUL AND I DIDNT KNOW ALOT ABOUT THE BIKE BUT I WAS INFORMED ALL THE WAY

GIVE THEM A BREAK

ESPECIALLY PEOPLE WHO SAY THE A1 IS 20 MILES FROM CANNONS

I'd still use them- but then, I believe in giving people a second chance and I know that Sue and her team are trying hard.

Wheeling out old stories and jumping on the bandwagon each time something is mentioned is a bit sad IMO.

Give them a fekkin chance- tell them when they've got it wrong (as they were told very plainly here a while back) but if they've improved and have made someone satisfied with their service, I think it's unfair to then knock them down yet again :blast

they have ... i was 1000 percent happy and ive been dealing with them for 6 months and they are great ... i got a free shirt too !!

If you want to use them you are welcome and I respect your choice to do so - strange as I find it.

As to giving them chances - I gave them several and they screwed up each time and didn't care.

So I think it's only right to make fellow GSER's aware so if they chose to do business with this dealer, that they go in armed with the knowledge with how they have treated good money paying customers in the past and make sure they aren't treated the same.

Needless to say if customers going in to Cannons find parts ordered turn up within a year of ordering, bikes serviced correctly and on time, not being kept waiting all day when told just after lunch and still there at 17:00, warrenty work completed correctly without causing damage to the bike etc; then they have good reason to think - Whats that Attleborough banging on about then....

Ever been somewhere and been turned over & wished somebody had warned you so you could at least be wise and prepared - just in case?

Thats all I'm doing.

Another family member? Do you know Willow? I am watching you!

Fuel for the fire :augie
I bought my 08 GSA from Cannon's and I'm afraid the service took an sudden nose dive the moment I rode of the forecourt !

I have given these guys a second chance (and the second service) which was delayed because they were short staffed, I was then buggered about having to call them several times to get the bike delivered back to me. (that was also delayed ' coz the boss goes scrambling with the van on Wednesdays')

Then to top it off I sent my old pa over to see them when he was in the market for an RT, only to be messed about himself.

SO LIND - NORWICH GOT THE ORDER !

Sorry chaps, but my GSA will be heading in to Norfolk for it's servicing in future.
