I bought my 08 GSA from Cannon's and I'm afraid the service took an sudden nose dive the moment I rode of the forecourt !

I have given these guys a second chance (and the second service) which was delayed because they were short staffed, I was then buggered about having to call them several times to get the bike delivered back to me. (that was also delayed ' coz the boss goes scrambling with the van on Wednesdays')

Then to top it off I sent my old pa over to see them when he was in the market for an RT, only to be messed about himself.

SO LIND - NORWICH GOT THE ORDER !

Sorry chaps, but my GSA will be heading in to Norfolk for it's servicing in future.

Glad I'm not the only one to experience this.
Shiny showroom, happy to give you a test ride, I bought the bike.

I am disappointed to hear that you have experienced an issue with our Dealership. We have made several staff changes this year, and I am in the position of further strengthening our team, to improve both the customer experience and the Technical Expertise we can offer.

I have been to Cannons and was pleased with there service, No I did not have my bike seen to, but ordered my bike out fit from them last year, they new I had purchased my bike from Park lane, but was still helpful to fit me in the right suit.

They had to order it, yes I am of the large size, Sue phoned me twice and e.mailed me, to advise it had arrived.

Every now and then, I still get e.mails, from them, re new bikes or sales.l

My local dealer SBW . I have been in and purchased items, but they dont even reply to me calling in to purchase a bike. .and they lent me the gs 1200 adv for the pink way around.

So if you dont like the service complain direct.first. make a fus. you would if it was your car.

Because you're sounding like a stuck record.....it's very boring and going around slagging the same dealer time after time is a bit ......you've had your say, it's there on record- spamming it all over any thread that even mentions Cannons is frankly sad and you ought to move on now

No, it wasn't me who removed your (rather peurile) post, but I would have if I'd seen it first

And no, there isn't any 'pressure' or anything else coming from Cannon BMW......we'd be the first people to tell a dealer to fekk off if there was.

It's just too easy for people with big chips on their shoulders to harp on about the same old thing and at some point, it has to stop....exactly like we would (and have) d stop a dealer spamming some offer or something they had going on.

I had a not too good experience at Cannon's in Chelmsford but it is too long ago to be of consequence.

On Tuesday I popped in to collect the foot rest rubbers they ordered for me and they were there and cheaper than the two main mail order parts specialists.

my experiance so far has been pretty terrible . i used to think they were stuck up their own ars@@ when in chelmsford and despite their poor reputation i thought i would give them the benifit of the doupt as they are my local dealer. Big mistake ! my bike has a poor (dangerously jerky) running problem and although they have had it for 5 weeks have still not resolved this issue.
To make matters worse they are TOTALLY INCAPABLE of being able to make a return phone call.(except once!!!! out of appox 25 promises of a return call) This to me is more infuriating than not having my bike, it just shows how very little they really care , which is a very annoying. They appear all sweetness and light when you get through and then never call you back for updates on progress or lack of it in my case.

If you want to be totally ignored ,taken for granted and not get your bike fixed in a reasonable time frame, i thoughly recommend them
and after yesterdays non return of call i phoned this afternoon to be told it will be ANOTHER WEEK before theres any chance of getting the bike fixed
i cant take anymore somebody call the men in white coats im going MAD!!!!!!!!

Cannon were recommended to me as really helpful people, they weren't the closest but personal recommendation shouldn't be overlooked......

Two months now i have been waiting for the second key & emergency key to arrive..... Now have been told i was given this when the bike was dropped off & they are not prepared to issue another .....bloody people!!... bloody liars!!
