Canon XL2 camcorder

Does anyone know the best UK price for the Canon XL2 digital camcorder as I'm about to purchase one in Inverness and they have just informed me that they will match any price in the Uk. Negotiated price at moment ........ £3200.

How much do you want to save ?

Get a cheap return flight/coach/train to Tottenham Court Road London and get walking. You will get a good deal. Be very careful to check you don't get sold an NTSC version.

V. Nice piece of kit, make sure you don't use it as a deck and get plenty of batteries and a tripod. If you really want to save some money try and pick up an XL1s. It would take a very good editor to spot the difference between the rushes.

Thanks for the info / Initial reports are that the XL2 is far more advanced than its predecesors and my editor has advised me to aquire one asap.

I hope to purchase a PAL version and be shooting with it hopefully within 7 days???????
