I did a little while ago, and all seemed fine, just a quick nip really. Despite the increase in pick up, it was still a little lumpy. And the tickover was a touch low.
So today I've adjusted my valve clearances, including the rocker end floats, which were fine. But when I pulled out the plugs, the lefy hand side was fine, but the right was cocked. I cleaned returned the plugs (swapping them over), and readjusted my throttle cable, it's the bastard single one.
Anyway, I've attached the Robotronic, and the L/H body is sucking the oil straight in, without a moments hesitation.
I've removed the brass adjuster screws, cleaned and replaced, and basically fettled everything, but still the L/H body is monstering the R/H body. I've even closed off the L/H and fully opened the R/H, same result, with all variations in between, I've even disconnected the L/H pipe, and let the R/H have it's way, which it did, but not as fiercly as the L/H.
I'm confused now, both cylinders are firing, and the bike seems to tick over fine. I can only think it's something to do with the throttle cable, I've adjusted it as in the manual, no play on R/H, no play on L/H "out" about half a mm L/H "in"
Is there an order in which you should fit and adjust, or does anybody have any other ideas?
