Can't get e-mails on my i-Pad

Any ideas why I can't get e-mails on my I-Pad? I went to the Apple Shop and they said contact your service provider(TalkTalk) but TalkTalk customer service is just bloody awful. I have tried putting in the router password but to no avail.

you've not really explained your problem. you say email, but then talk about router password

assuming you're connected to your router.....the possibilities for getting it wrong are almost endless, but i'd start here

if that's not the problem, navigate to the relevant section of the TT website.

As Cookie says, there's lots of different reasons, one is the outgoing and incoming server settings.
What email do you use? btinternet, gmail, yahoo?

Were you getting them before, do you have an internet connection, is the email working on a different device, have you setup the email account to receive emails from your ISP provider?
