Once again the inability of my mouth to form the word NO has led to an addition to the fleet. Thinking of getting "Do not sell me your bike" tattooed on my forehead" :D (would work well as forehead extends to the back of my neck :rob)

1974 R75/6. Apparently the fairing and twin discs were available as an option on R60,75 & 90/6s. Have a factory pamphlet on how to fit the fairing. I'm told the bike was originally black and I think I will return it to it's original color. Runs OK, usual work to do -brakes, fork seals etc. . Not sure what the future holds for this one - restore or cafe or ride on club plates. Looks better in pic than it is.

Any observations or pearls of wisdom welcome.

I sold my 90/6 earlier this year. lovely bikes. The only real problem is the under tank master cylinder, fitting a handle bar conversion makes a big difference but is quite expensive (£250 for the kit from Motorworks).
Don't cafe it just keep it as it is.

I was going to spray mine black and fit a corbin seat. One of the guys on Advrider did a fine ob of his

Another response to my Wanted (air cooled BMW) add in the local paper was this R65. At 600 squid I couldn't resist (in fact I rarely can :D). Didnt have an R65 in mind when I placed the add, was more thinking of something with Paris Dakar or similar in the title, but thought this was too good to pass up. Will probably on sell it and use the profits to register my K1.

Posted it here to get some input. It is 10/85 build. I didn't think any R65s had wire wheels. What about twin discs? Exhaust system is a newish Staintune (work of art). Mirror is genuine Harley (vibrates even when bike isn't running ) Paint is non original. Front discs are rooted.

Whaddya reckon?

Keith
