Can't update Mapsource maps

Hi folks. Any help, ideas gratefully received.

I went through download process for Navigator NT 2011.20 (I have lifetime updates) and my Zumo 660 updated O.K. The maps showing in Mapsource didn't, however, and on the third attempt, the Mapsource maps disappeared completely (unit still fine).

I notice there's no download file remaining on my PC which means I have to go through the whole process (downloading-preparing-installing) again if I want to try a fourth time. Also, I assume this means I have to download etc. for the other 3 PCs I use. Is that correct? I'm sure I used to just transfer the download file in the past....

It's tricky for me to call during office hours and Garmin Support haven't responded to my emails.
 
...that's pretty much how I recall it working but when I go to garmin.com/ My Garmin/myMaps, the only meaningful option I see is "Download Again"...this requires me to connect my Zumo "No devices were found. Connect your GPS to your computer with a USB cable to proceed:" and the whole pointless process starts again....

I had the same problem but when I repeated the process I did see the "options" button at the bottom left of one of the menu boxes and once you click on that, it then gives you an option to download to mapsource as well as your unit. Several hours wasted downloading though! :mad:
