So just a question about how to process a claim....
Yesterday we drove a 8 hour round trip to Ackworth to buy a Suzuki car, sub 23k miles and immaculate for my Mrs. Couldn't fault the car or the main dealers and they even organised 5 day free insurance to drive home, this morning we insured the car to start as the Suzuki one ends.....this afternoon we parked in the huge carpark at the local Ludlow Homecare carpark and a guy drove straight in and puts a crease in the rear wing.
Anyway I was just walking into the carpark and the Mrs in tears and the guy is very apologetic and admits full responsibility, half an hour later we have been contacted by the NFU to say it's all in hand....so do we have to contact our insurance if it is all being sorted or do we ask the bloke to repair it?
The damage is light but it's a sort of perlescent paint which could be hard to match so could be very expensive. I'm just worried that this is us making a claim and it could change our insurance or is it nothing to do with our company?
Very distressed girl here so any help appreciated.
