Thought so mate! Coincidence really i went in there friday afternoon to arrange to cover me tank panels and when i showed em a picture of me bike, ben says straight away "we've just dun one of them, panniers aswell!", for your panniers did you strip them first of did you just give them the boxes complete, coz they look the bollox!

They did all the work I just dropped Box's/panels in.
How much did it cost?
Cost £100 per box, the box's will still be like new if the wrap is ever removed.

Guy it looks good but what is the point having all this done at the great expense, I just don't understand why you have to spend all this money on buying this beautiful boxes and not having the satisfaction off enjoying yourself with just the way they are 
It is not going to last forever not even yourself's and when it comes the time to sale it probably you will get reept off anyway , then you will find out that it was such a waste off time and money!

You could argue what is the point in buying every piece of tat on the market to bling a GS only to change the bike for a different manufacturers a few years down the line. Horses for courses.

For simple shapes DIY wrapping isn't hard to do.

The chrome/mirror wrap is v.expensive, something like 3x or 4x the regular stuff. Does look cool though - there's a GT-R around my way which is covered in it and it is a real stop & stare job - fantastic.
By the way, if you are thinking of doing it yourself, it can be very tricky on surfaces which have lots of concave sections. What happens is that you heat the vinyl to soften and stretch it into shape, and then lay it on.
However as it cools it contracts, so if you are laying it across a concave area it will tend to lift up after a day or two. This is what happened to mine, especially around the complex shapes of the front mudguard and the panels by the screen. Boss Dog re-did it and used a number of separate pieces to complete the wrap.
Also, large multi-curved areas like the tank are quite tricky - mine is made with 3 seprate pieces of vinyl with the joins hidden under the stickers. If you try and do it in one piece you'll get a ridged, creased mess.

Spray on, peel off would be handy to protect paint. Spray on carbon unlikely though.

I also felt the Triple Black was lacking some . . . . Well, BLACK ! ! !
So I did this to mine.
I thought about wrapping the panniers but went for paint instead.
Then, while I was at it, got the engine bars, Cylinder head covers and pannier frames powder coated.
The Carbon wrap was great to work with, it took some time and I made a couple of mistakes along the way.
This is MY bike and there's not another one like it. Maybe not eveyone's taste but that's kind of the point. It's personal to me.

Looks a good job Martin. Been thinking of painting/wraping the panniers on mine. what did you do to prep for paint by way of taking off bits, brackets etc, did you need special primer?

I took the locks off then masked up all the plastic fittings as I couldn't imagine drilling Stainless rivets out of the plastic parts in the Ali boxes without causing lots of damage.
I rubbed down the Ali with scotch pads (like a heavy duty scouring pad) used an acid etch primer then 2 coats of black. I used 30% gloss, so they have a semi-matt finish.
It was all a little bit of guess work, but I'm pleased with the results.
Nothing stays new, I'm sure they'll show signs of wear and tear, but at least I don't have to worry about the bare Ali corroding through the winter months.
I tend to ride when I want or need to regardless of the weather, having said that I like to look after things too, hopefully this kills 2 birds with 1 stone.
