Carburettor leak - well both now, actually !

Lovin' the shed painted to match the bike!

If I do this, and they become camoflaged, my wife won't be able to count them so easily :D

I bought some cloth braided fuel pipe for the RS from a "Vehicle Electrical Supplier" it was slightly larger than the OEM but worked initially.

On my way down to the Airhed weekend last year it decided to pee all over the M5.
I was in Bridgewater before I realised what was happening.

Asked in the Harley dealer for a length of fuel pipe and they responded
"Oh we only sell package goods here" their mechanical helped be with some from his tool box.

Examining the pipe it was craze cracked really badly so i would conclude that the pipe was not proper fuel pipie to begin with.

It was only about 2 years old.

Agreed re the braided fuel hose...that was the same on mine, the rest was just the standard rubber fuel piping and that was perfect ( as you know the braided hosing is standard OE fitment by BMW ! ) I'm all plain rubber now !! May even test ride her shortly :bounce1

Braided hose deteriorates out of sight until a leak becomes obvious. GSF do some very good unbraided fuel hose which comes in a variety of internal diameters.
