Cardo Beyond GTS Helmet.

Cardo’s first foray into helmet manufacturing.




Great specs including a carbon fibre shell and a new Pinlock 200 that isn’t even released yet.
BUT the huge selling point of this new helmet is that it’s the first ever helmet with ANC, and Cardo say you can do away with ear plugs.
It comes with huge 53 mm speakers and the latest Packtalk Pro comms.
Biggest issue will be the price at around £1050 in UK.
But the most expensive full face Shoei/Arai are over £800 so another £250 or so for dully integrated comms AND ANC seems reasonable.
I’ll wait for the flip version !

I saw this recently and thought the same as you exactly. Especially "I'll wait for their flip up version!"

It does seem incredibly expensive. But your also right that once you get a good quality life + intercom, it's all heading in that price direction already.

I wear earplugs to protect my hearing. Always have done. All of the noise cancelling tech I have used to date have been in ear buds, or around ear cups. Will the ANC in this helmet be able to protect my hearing even though the speakers will be on-ear or at- ear at best?

I love the concept and would definitely pay the extra premium for a quiet lid with no wind noise etc.

If they can make a helmet that fits as well as my GT Air 2 and has ANC that really works, I'll be at the front of the queue to buy one. Motorcycling and rock concerts have resulted in massive hearing loss and constant tinnitus. I need to protect what little hearing I have left.

I am going to try removing the Sena system from my helmet (I never use it) and try wearing my Bose ANC earbuds to see how that works.
