Cardo Scala G4 Radio not working...

Hi just got a a Scala G4 and everything works great except the radio which is not working. Just wondering if anyone else had a problem or I just got a dodgy unit. Thanks

The reception on them isn't the greatest so try to make sure you route the speaker cables over the top of the head within the helmet. The speaker cables are actually the aerial.

It also helps to download the update software from the Cardo website and use it to preset some known strong stations in your area.

The radio in my Schuberth SRC didn't work at all until I did the latest software upgrade and even now the reception isn't great but sometimes can work brilliantly.

Yeah - I downloaded the update and tunned the stations but still no luck. I've got an Arai helmet and the foam is glued in the helmet. Have exchanged it so we will see how it goes.

I've found the radio very weak. We have low signal strengths in Norfolk so to be expected frankly.

I'm going for a cheap DAB to input via the jack socket for next year.

Found the radio to be a bit pants and never use it as it just couldnt keep a signal.

Just sent it back. If I get the same problem I will know what the answer is. Aside from the FM reception which is poor benefits outway for the cons for those that still have it?

Just got a new one and tried it today. Will be returning again tomorrow. Sound from GPS is crap, radio doesn't work and it is very complicated to use. Bit disappointed as it look the real deal.
