Thumbs up for MOT'ing the GS today :thumb

Shame I had to go to a Triumph dealer to get the MOT carried out, whereas the local BMW dealer (SLM  ) wouldn't do it unless I had a service too:blast

The staff at Carl Rosner are good too, very helpful, came 1st in London dealers in Ride mag.

I called Sainsburys and they don't do mots either.:nenau
I also asked Watling Tyres to service my bike and they don't do that:nenau
I went to the butchers to buy some apples and they couldn't help me:nenau

Maybe SLM aren't an MOT testing centre???

well it seems they are happy to do it if you have a full service!! and all the while the 10k a year snotty employees look down on anyone on a bike older than 3 years... i dont go in there anymore, the atmosphere is so far from being welcoming its untrue

I did'nt know SLM where doing MOT's mind you it has been a while since I was there... is it still a bad as I remember. snotty staff and a jumped up bint who thinks she knows bikes.
They used to send all thier bikes down to Dobles for MOT's patting each others back.if you know what I mean.

I think they take the bikes elsewhere for MOT's, hence the reluctance to do them unless they have to. Carl Rosner said that nobody does MOT work on bikes to make money, they do it to provide a service. Now I know why SLM don't bother;)

Yes I believe she is still there, only there is a choice of two now:rolleyes:

Yep still as bad, rarely visit them though now, TBH.

Maybe you aren't very bright:augie

Do you sell bikes for a living by any chance:rolleyes:

As they aren't an MOT testing station and it means they'd either have to van it or get someone to ride it to one it's not really a financial proposition. Nice that they do it as a courtesy when you get 'em serviced really. :)
