OK the tilt angle icon. Its not covered in the instructions, but basically it just highlights your angle when you are riding along. Hopefully you wouldn't be looking at it as you are going around a corner!

Same as the lean angle display on my R1300GS, and definitely won’t be looking at that while riding

At the start of the review, you show a map screen (Google maps?) - it displays speed in the top RH corner.

Is this speed from a GPS or the bike's canbus?

Cancel my last.

Just back from a 30 min ride. The speed displayed in the nav apps is indeed GPS speed, so I assume that it is getting it from the connected phone.

Works very well.

I run Waze most of the time, as it is very useful for reporting traffic and (most importantly) the old bill - who are ruthless bastards, fixated on revenue raising in Oz....

Leaves the hopeless BMW nav for dead.

I'm in no hurry..... I have a Chigee in the cradle and it's grand (just a too small for my 56 year old mincers)

I loved the 702B....but the old mount system caused issues with the way my cradle was mounted. I'm hoping with the neater mount on the 702BS it will bring the weight closer to my cradle and in turn closer to what it's mounted on.

Looking forward to having the flat screen TV back

I did order mine on or just before the launch, As I did have the 702 and loved it. This new one, not only is brilliant due to the bike integration, but also for what you mention, The mount. Its how it should have been. As the 702 was designed to fit any bike, with the adapter, This new BS comes with only the unit itself. No mounting hardware. And is much cleaner, and now flush with the mount facia.
I don't even have a bike yet, Having to wait to the 1st March.
I do have the new splash screen ready on the sd card

Yes, I have the Bin file. Ill try and send it.
The file can be changed, as long as the image file stays the same size. Put it on an sd card, (Max 32GB) Turn unit on. Insert sd card. Press the green tick on screen. Job done. Remove sd card

Its worth it, as you'll be spoilt for choice. That said, As long as the image is the correct size, you can add anything.
