Carpuride 702 BS Review (the one with Wonderwheel integration).

I have the 702bs, it connects seamlessly to Apple CarPlay but I can’t seem to connect the unit to my Sena SRL- what’s confusing me is the BT trans & play audio, do I need to connect the Sena to the 702bs separately ?
As I have it set up I have Apple CarPlay but if I play music nothing comes through to my Sena.
Probably me being technophobic & stupid.

There is a Utube video from Carpuride early on just a visual, watch it and use option 1 for BT transfer, in other words DONOT connect your comms to the Carpuride only to you’re phone, follow the vid it simple and then coms and connectivity will be seamless evertvtime

Don't connect the SENA to the Carpuride.
Just connect SENA to your phone (which is already done I'd imagine) and connect the phone to the Carpuride.
Choose Play Audio.

Thanks guys, I like the unit, but I do find it a bit too large really, it coverers the rev counter on a 2015 with analog clocks, not a big deal, just a small gripe, I don’t suppose the mount moves at all does it? I’ve not been out on it much yet.

Yes......but if you have that screen on (and after having both......it's a much better screen than the Chigee)....you don't have your Android Auto/Car Play screen on. Now.....you can switch between the 2 with the whizwheel.

That's good news! I'm struggling with the size of the Chigee screen so have ordered a Carpuride! Just waiting for the MRA zooming update. Thanks for your reply.

Bit cheesed off, My Samsung S20 5G is one of the few phones it says won't work with it. Won't use Android Auto wirelessly for some reason

Will it not work via a cable? assuming you can either get a wireless charger like a Quadlock or charge the phone with a power bank at coffee stops? Just a thought.

My S20FE works fine with a W502 (non BS model).
Maybe message them? Software is clearly different for the BS version- but can't be that different.

Speed is clearly displayed on the Google Maps screen (if the speedo being blocked is your issue) and it's accurate GPS speed.

adjusted how ?
if you mean moved/tilted, then yes. Just loosen the 4 screws on the back plate from the front. You'll need a Torx 25/30 (I think)
Then you can tilt/slide it to where ever you want.

Sometimes you have to stop being a bloke and read the f'ng manual. After weeks of faff, 5 minutes with the manual and I have all the voice activation working. Phone calls, WhatsApp calls work. Speech to text/whatsapp also works. So I am a very happy bunny today
