Carpuride 702bs zooming

So just got this and whilst running a route in Google maps I can see how to zoom in and out using the plus and minus icons on the screen, but when navigating using mra app its not obvious to me? The map is far too zoomed in? Any ideas??

I have only used this once so far but from memory on the MRA map screen you press the wheel right then scroll down until it reaches the "four arrows" pointing north south east and west. Click right on the wheel and it brings up the plus or minus

Ok gave that a go and yes on the app on the phone there are the plus and minus icons,these however don't show on the carpuride when the route is being navigated

Here are some pics of mine.
On the first pic scroll down to the bottom icon on the right. Pushing the wheel to the right then brings up the second pic where you can scroll around and either zoom in or out or move the map around.

On the third picture you can see that by scrollong and clicking on the top icon of the three will let you toggle between current position and full route mode

Ah! That’s the difference. Never thought of that. I think they are doing an update to give the zoom function in Android. Not sure when though

Sorry I meant I think MRA are working on an update. Maybe worth searching in their community forum page

Did you ever find a solution to this one? I am thinking of changing to Android phone from Apple but dont want to lose the zoom function

Zoom works from the Google maps but not mra unless you can access your phone as far as I could tell anyway

They announced 2 days ago that zooming in MRA is in the next release. I’m on the beta, and they weren’t clear if they meant the next beta or the next public release, but it should be soon anyway.

Zooming in CarPlay & Android Auto

Perhaps the most heard request is to allow direct zooming from the main car screen. I guess you will like this Android Auto CarPlay

Update - Looking for the potentially updated zoom function in Android Auto - Used my Chigee AIO-5 play for BMW today for the first time and could not see/access a zoom function whilst running MRA on Android Auto. I completely see what the OP means by the fact that it's too zoomed in. A major flaw.
