Carpuride connection

We looked at that and it was but then deleted. I'll check again though. Could that be the issue?
With any issues my first IA is delete all pairings on all items and start again, if your looking to only have your phone connected to the Carpuride and use it for navigation and comms and streaming just follow the VT earlier in this thread, any connections of your phone to the TFT with the CarPlay option I believe will cause a conflict

Thanks, I'll try again this morning. Last chance as I leave early hours Thursday for Folkestone.

As posted on another thread, fresh start this morning, delete everything on every device and start again.

The phone was not connected to the TFT.

I would recommend having the manual for each device, open and readily accessible for viewing i.e. on a laptop.

Read through the instructions first and then refer to the relevant sections as you proceed the set up.

If it says press a button for 5 seconds, read the separate following instruction that says "now press the same button once immediately" to pair the satnav.

Again, I have set it up on the dining table, all working as required. Switched off and back on and still all ok. The test comes later when I put it on the bike! 🤞

Thanks again for the help and advice. :beerjug:

Thanks Wapping.

Just to update...

It's been pretty good, once I established I should use Google Maps and not Maps, on my mobile. All syncs up well, phone provides the info to Carpuride and Carpuride blurts it out to the Cardo headset.

One tip, your phone should be on permanent charge if distance and time are a factor in your riding.

Another tip, don't keep the phone where it will get hot and shut down. If it does, you have a problem. I learnt this and now keep it sheltered from the sun, inside the tank bak with something to keep the bag slightly open to create a draft.

One more ... make sure you buy long charging cables. Too short and umm, .... they are too short. Rather longer and stuff them in a pocket or a bag.

In fact, make sure you keep the headset charged too, otherwise you have to keep watching the map.

So you have Cardo connected to the Carpuride.
My understanding is that it’s Phone to Carpuride.
Phone to Caomms device.
Then connect phone and comms device first before switching on bike & Carpuride.
This works best for me.

If it works then fine , leave it.
I did the same initially. It worked but I watched the videos and took the advice.

Not putting comms system through the Carpuride is the best option for seamless connections every time and audio quality is greatly improved
