Hi All,

Looking at the Carpuride W702B Pro, I understand this one will fit the NAV Prep cradle. I have a Navigator IV and looking to upgrade and use CarPlay. My question is I have the cradle with the 4 buttons, will it still fit (I know the buttons are redundant) and I have the Touratech locking cradle, will the Carpuride fit in this?

Cheers

Yes.
I own the Carpuride 702BS Pro
Fits straight on the BWM cradle from the box, no setting up.

Just open box stick on and start bike... ta da!

and BTW they are absolutely brilliant.

Thank you, does that mean the Touratech locking cradle will still work as well??
Have CarPlay in my car and it is far easier than asking Siri to do something via the headset

The Touratech cradle won't work with the Carpuride, it was made to wrap around the Navigator 4 and 5.
It does mount directly to the BMW Nav mount.
This thing below. I got one for sale if you want.

Edit:
It’s also compatible with the older 4 button BMW cradle.
But it has no Wonder Wheel control.

I haven't used the Carpuride myself, but I do have a CPMC B7 on my GS. From what I understand, these BMW-specific displays all work in a very similar way—they make contact with the 18-pin contacts in the BMW Nav Prep cradle to get power and communicate with the bike.
