no,itl run, i fitted a techlusion box but its not necessary

Touch and go - in my opinion.

The lack of back-pressure may cause detonation, which would require a Techlusion or Power Commander to solve.

Not a problem ecu thingy works i all out. If your changing the air filter as well to say a K&N then get it checked on a dyno, just to be sure. Makes massive difference to performance when you add a full remus exhaust.

Look up this thread ... "Steptoe's cat code 'plug' - it works!"

It made a difference to my 2004 1150GSA with the same set-up as yours.

i fitted mine as soon as i got the bike and have had no problems with it
may be a littlee smokey and pop a bit but should be ok

thanks for the info mate helps when you guys have already know how to sort these things only had gs since april so just startin to get to know my way round the bike had a few probs to start with abs/rear brake caliper so did not want to fit this an blow up the engine
