CD label / jewel case software

On my previous laptop I had some software which made inserts for CD jewel cases and CD labels.

It saved the file with an extension of .JWL

Some time back I got a new laptop and I copied my .JWL files over. The new machine does not have any CD labelling software so I'm interested in finding some Freeware or Shareware which will open files with .JWL extension.

Can anyone point me in the right direction ? there are plenty of programmes out there, but I can't find one which deals with .JWL files.

Sonds like it was EasyCD Creator you were using (look here )

Unfortunately, the copy I have (and paid for!) doesn't seem to work with XP so I can no longer use it

Phil,

Did you find the installation disk for that s/w?

The problem I had originally with XP was a message at the start of installation of the complete bundle that there were compatibility problems so I backed off.

I've just done a "custom install" on my "spare PC" and deselected all but teh Jewel Case Creator and it has installed and runs OK.

I find that the Adaptec/Roxio CD burning s/w is redundant with XP and all I needed was access to the Jewel Case creator s/w to print the labels (of which I have many blanks!).

Let me know if you need a copy.

I used easy cd for years until i discovered nero, tons more stuff onboard and much more integrated. Not only is the cover designer the best i have found but it actualy prints disc lables in the write place.
It also :burns dvd
burns cd
rips films to dvd iso svcd vcd and just about owt else
plays video in any format
converts audio to mp3,wave
edits photos and video and you can create a film to
watch on dvd
lets you convert vhs records and tapes onto hard drive
then burn them as mp3 audio svcd or vcd or dvd
you can download it free from www.ahead but you wont get the codes to make it work i wonder where you could get them from?
I also found a site called astalavista very interesting but make sure your virus gear is switched on hope this help
