Just to say that the RT type hoses were exactly right as suggested - fitted and working fine. However, going to get braided ones made up by local hydraulics supplier, plus I hope, a small bypass hose for emergencies !
Thanks for the help all, but as my final comment regarding removing the cooler - just got back from France trip, and got seriously held up in solid slow moving, stop / start/ filter traffic on the Peripherique round Paris on a Friday afternoon, took around 90 mnts to get past it all, in very hot conditions, and was thinking about all the people saying remove the cooler .... No thanks !!
