Centre stand advice

The most efficient and impressive method.

Starting from about 50 feet behind the bike run quickly towards it and vault on to the seat grabbing the handlebars at the last minute (to prevent you going over the screen).

Even with lightweight riders the kinetic force of you hitting the seat and grabbing the bars at the same time will push the bike forwards and off the stand.

You can then cooly :cool start the bike and ride away. :thumb

Note - only try this with a top-box in position if your inside leg measurement is over 42" DAMHIK :blast

THE PROPER WAY!

While it's on the centre stand, go to B & Q and get 6 large bags of building sand, not the fine stuff, then go to your local friendly Beemer dealer and get some off road tyres.

Carefully remove the wheels and put the new tyres on, making sure the direction of rotation is equidistant in the circumference compared to the amount of slack in the bearings.

Next empty the sand and pile it as high as you can so that the rear wheel is directly in its path, ie touching the tyres. Then get on, start up, first gear, loads of revs and Bob's your unkle, the bike will shoot forward, the centre stand will tuck under and your free form years of torture of just looking at your bike and wondering why you ever put it on it's centre stand in the first place.
