When you put the bike on the centrestand it probably won't reach the ground.

So joking aside will it not be suitable ? Mrs Radar has one on her old F650GS and I need one on the Dakar so was hoping to save some money by 'relocating' it !!

If your Dakar is lowered it will work but if not you'll have to extend the stand by about 2" IIRC.

Sorry, I couldn't resist.

Joking aside; If you have a hack saw, some sutible tubing and have access to a welder. There's no reason why you couldn't extend it to fit.

Keep your eye out on the F/S section and eBay, they come up every now and then.

i just fitted a SW Motech one this weekend. £80, i think and worth every penny. a bit fiddly to fit, but everything goes together pefectly. no more ridiculous lean angle on the side stand for me.
