ceramic clutch bmw gs 1150

I have found a company in south Africa who make or supply ceramic clutch s for BMWs they are called cytech .Johannesburg SA has anyone used them and is their any benefits to fitting a ceramic clutch ...thanks Steve

I've had a ceramic clutch fitted to my 1150 for the last 4 years / 20,000 miles. Ceramic clutches supposedly wear less - TT used to state that a ceramic clutch will last the lifetime of the bike. Worth noting that the ceramic clutch plate has to be fitted with spacers that are removed after 5000 mile use IIRC.
