CF card

I have a Garmin 2610 which works perfectly with the 256mb card inserted. I recently purchased a 1gb Kingston card so as to load more info onto it. The problem is that when I insert the card, a message comes up on the screen saying 'Map Storage Error' and refuses to accept any map data. I am currently using software 4.30. The card was sent back to the supplier, tested and sent back to me. It works in my digi camera.

Any suggestions???

Just what i did... The Kingston went in my Ixus and i bought a new 1GB Sandisk for my 2610
