It will be interesting to see if they have completely eliminated the woes of the KTM 790 derived engine. That would make me slightly wary compared to the Loncin/BMW engine in the Voge which seems to be relatively robust. Lovely looking bike which I expect will ride well with the KTM style pannier tank.

The engines were modified a while back so no new 790s have the cam issues.
The current Adv790 is made in China by CF Moto and so the 800X will have that engine.
A mate has a 790 and it’s been bullet proof so far.

The 790, 890 & 901 Norden, post 2022, all use the modified engine ( re-worked by CF-Moto ), so there are no cam wear issues :beerjug:
