Got the official Cobra on the 1290 and the knock off version on the 701 and works well on both

Me too.
Fitted last week and seems fine with no oil flung on the bike. 2000k's done last week with 8 quarter turns.
I fitted the drip by the chain guide for an easy life and use chainsaw oil.

Just bought a Gidibii and was wondering if it would mount on my 701 like that, and now I find this picture which confirms I can

I would add that the "knock off", at £17.69 delivered from China, appears to be identical to the Cobrra item I bought for my 1190 some years back for £85.
