CHANGE FROM ST TO GS?

HI GUYS
I passed my test aged 39 4 months ago and have been driving a F 650ST which i enjoy very much. I took it to the dealer today for an mot and he had a F 650GS for sale which looked great so i took it for a ride. It's a very comfy bike so I took it for a spin and did love it. It felt smooth though i thought it had a little less grunt than the strada. My question is, has anyone here driven both bikes and how did they compare? Any and all opinions will be gratefully received

The difference is, one's a GS, and the other ain't. Just buy it - you know it makes sense.

The GS is a 2001 model and i believe it has only one spark plug which may be a factor in acceleration. Thanks for all your input folks, i pick up the gs on tuesday

Yep, 2001 model a single spark.
And you're right, single spark does accelerate faster ...

...less weight
