Hi all

Has anyone written a real world guide or video to changing the discs and pads on a 1200rt?

I'm also interested in required tools and torque settings and any advice in general.

I've changed discs and pads on a car so I'm hoping it is similar job

thanks in advance

If you need that sort of help, maybe you shouldn't

Just a thought. It is a relatively simple job, but if you feel the need for such information, it may be beyond you. Suggest you get someone who knows these things to give you a hand, and you will see how little effort it takes to do it.
Yes, I know persons on this site are obsessed with torque wrenches and settings, but, like many others, I use past experience and commonsense, and have never had a problem.
I am sure a "skeleton dangler" will arrive soon to tell you how dangerous it is to do such things, but that's life, and they probably don't have one or the experience/commonsense to do without.

remove wheel, heat gun for the bolts, heat them up then put a good fitting torq socket and unscrew, replace disc and put loctite on threads of bolts, replace any bolts that get chewed, torque up to tight but not effing tight, change pads simple:thumb
