Changing from 1st to 2nd

Unless I am very deliberate when changing from 1st to 2nd gear, my GS12 is likely to jump out of 2nd gear. Is my toe so pathetic that that I'm not hitting it hard enough, or do these gearboxes require require more effort than I'm used to? Maybe I should mention it to the dealer.

I had few problems with mine when changing from first to second and jumping out of 3rd or 4th when I first got mine. I had the gear lever adjusted down about a quarter of an inch or so to allow for a more positive change. I had the dealer do the adjustment as I'd tried moving the lever down one spline but, then the side stand hit the gear lever. The adjustment is made on the linkage at the rear of the lever and the gearbox. Since having the adjustment done I haven't had any problems at all. I would say it's got one of the best gearbox's I've had on a bike.

Yep, very minor problem with mine, mainly when cold, but I think adjusting the lever would fix the 'problem' as well.

Yep I have that 1st to 2nd problem, when I can be arsed I`ll adjust the linkage down a tad.
