Changing from Dynamic to Road to Rain mode whilst on the move

If you select your mode, but then don't either shut the gas completely or pull the clutch in, it'll cancel after one minute. So it won't just change - you have to prime it, then activate it if you like.

Once Enduro Pro has been added to your software, changing mode won't change suspension settings - It'll let you stay on say say Normal, however you select the engine mapping.

Personally, I don't get why riders would change engine mapping. To me, your throttle is you throttle, and it's yer brain that controls it. My brain will give me the right amount of gas on a wet bumpy roundabout - why would I keep swapping between different throttle settings and add something new that I have to compute? One throttle action, and I know how it works ....

There is a noticeable difference between Road and Dynamic.

Plus, this is only 20 km away....

Mine is always in Dynamic. Why would i want to change it :nenau If I've got a pillion .... I smooth it out myself. If it's wet .... I use a bit of common sense .... I can't see the point of chopping and changing. One brain, one hand, one throttle .... :thumb2

Because it's not simply changing the rate of throttle that's applied. It changes other settings such as ABS.

Funny re Triumph.

Well in that case surprised you haven't downloaded and printed the manual. I'd read it several times before picking my WC up, and became my porn substitute for a while :-)

Mine also stays in Dynamic most of the time as well. Apart from the time I put it in Dynamic Pro in Italy, and did a 400 metre burnout on a gravel road, then remembered the ABS wasn't as effective when you need to stop quickly, on gravel!:D

It works very well depending on the weather, rain mode was excellent on a recent trip to wales with a pillion, smoothed out the throttle response and made it easier on the wrist. Dynamic for the twisters with hard suspension setting, normal and soft on the motorway. I use this feature on the bike more than any other.

I leave mine on Dynamic all the time as the traction control isn't as obtrusive two-up - the bike wheelies changing into 2nd and 3rd when making progress and traction control spoils play :D I also like sharpened throttle response.
