Changing headlight bulb for brighter..

I think I'm going to do the HID thing, just not sure of the combination - what is "best"?

Do the low beam and have HID spots to come on with original high?

HID low and high, no spots?

HID low, have riding lights, plus HID high and HID spots (come on with high)?

So many options!

Cheers

Depends on your budget.

I would do HID lo beam, and fogs as a the minimum. On from that it would be spots and HID main beam. Then it would be HID fogs and HID spots.

The fogs are great for getting noticed too due to the fact that it offers such an unusual pattern of lights, makes drivers look twice.

... I have the standard 'BTBR' aux spots on dip and a second pair on full-beam. All are fitted with standard halogen bulbs (cheap :thumb)

... I get more than enough light to enjoy 'spirited' night riding in safety.

... Several observers, both bikers and canned veg, have commented on how noticeable the bike is on the road. (So much so it is alleged that I might occasionally switch the aux spots off and duck in amongst other vehicles when coming upon plod, in traffic, in a 'spirited' manner :augie)

no

No do not put one in , Iv got a 06 gsAdv second hand and it had one in all ready yes it did not last to long but when I changed it the wires had melted. The light r just crap. Just drive slower in the dark or get extra lights
