Here you go

I paid £16.00 recently at SPC for 4 clear lens, Sherlocks sell them for £2.40 + VAT but I have no patience.

I also had orange bulbs, but I know them to be a few quid aswell. SPC hold them in stock and Sherlocks do also.

It is my understanding that you cannot get the straight opposite bulbs, but I have tailored mind with no real problems. I did it all with a nail file (thanks Mrs Commuter)

Remember to file the little edge on the clear lens to make it fit.

Easy as 123 honestly.

Send a PM to Mr. Nick Marshall

John,

Nick sorted my bike out with modified clear lenses & iridium bulbs.

Looks great and apparently other road users are really drawn to the strange colour/effect when they are in use.

This was feedback from mates of course!

I still like the small difference they make.

Cheers

Tok

Hi, Good plan that, looks a thousand times better!

I went for the clear lenses from Wunderlich (through SPC) and didn't need to file anything to get them to fit. You should go for the Silver Vision bulbs though (look clear/silver when off but amber when on) - expensive but It's always worth paying that bit extra for quality. Just be aware that the bulbs do need one of the pins filing off as they will not fit the standard holder.

Sorry, can't remember the prices but I think they look good although they are far from being the cheapest option.

Orange-clear/Clear-orange

What a wasteof money for no difference in the end result : a light which will be on and off and orange when on

Useful

I plan to fit widetails.. so the clear lenses are of use..

I will PM nick and see what he has to offer..

Cheers

John

Motorworks supplied the lot, lenses and orange bulbs and also gave me the advise to file or cut off the little plastic lug to prevent breakage on fitting the lenses.

Arrived the next day too!

Motorworks..

Cheers Guys, i have rang motorworks, they have supplied the lot for me.
Bulbs and lenses and told me about the little tab, which i had already spotted.

Will put a piccy up shortly.
I ordered a set of Lite Buddy's,, but didnt spot the fact they only do one..stop or running light.. So spoke to Norman and have cancelled that, and probably going to stick with the wide tails..

But he said they have some new bits coming in, in the next few weeks, so will let you know how that goes. Service from Norman was great.. I did order a 30 LED replacment bulb for the rear light.. so that should help light up the rear better..

rocks..

The deed is done..

Well the bits arrived saturday.. nipped out to the garage, rumaged about till i found a file..
Then whipped off the lugs.. replaced the bulbs and wholllaaaa!

They now look funky and are far more obvious and brighter..
All ready for the widetails when Malky gets back to me with his address....

I also added my own custome "FAT ASS" LED setup.. wait and see,, pics to follow.. works amazingly well at night. bakc of the bike is now ultra obvious..

..and 1100??

.. can you fit clear lenses to the 1100... BMW said i could but would need new bulb holder to?

The end results

Just to show what the bike looks like with the new lenses..

From the front..
