Hi i am in the middle of a charity ride from Ireland to Zambia to help my local school St Ciarans raise funds and awareness for the plight of a community of people who live in poverty in a very deprived area in mullenga zambia the people there are living in a mosquito infested swamp in clay houses and have none of the normal services like electric or running water the streets are mud and when the rains come the sewage runs down the streets .St Ciarans school has been raising funds for 4 years now and have built a nursery school and are building a community center .The men of the village have no work but through the project they help work on the building work along sides skilled workers from ireland and uk who give their time to help with the work there. all money raised goes directly to the project with no money taken by the organisers their time and expenses are all volentary .i have been putting some photos and a blog off the trip on facebook and i am sending back video clips to the school and they have been putting them up weekly showing the progress of the trip .anyone interested in following the trip can follow on my facebook page frank mcnelis youtube videos st ciarans peregrini any one wanting to donate will find the details on the st ciarans peregrini site Sorry i have tried to put these up as links but didnt work, computer not my strong point .
