Cheap Chinese Rear mud sling £20

I got front and rear from m&p. No issues with fitment the rear clicks in and then has tie strips just like more expensive ones. The front has self tapping metal prongs like the more expensive ones. It is a piece of moulded plastic and as near as dammit identical so object to paying total rip off prices (my third LC so for third time) for the ones nippy normans sell.

i bought another cheap chinese mud fender for the back wheel - the one with the arm hoping to get rid of the water splash on the back of my shoes/pants (1200 LC) - but it is not very effective....
could this one work better???

I have the Puig version of this and it works fine for me. Some will say it doesnt but does for me.
