The last photograph shows the chinksling to be well short of a genuine Mudsling. Maybe the extra money is for the extra length and therefore to actually be effective?

Mine arrived yesterday, spent 5 mins fitting it today and I'm happy with it.
Might not be as long as others (don't know, haven't seen others) but there's a protective bit already on the bottom of the spring and these overlap quite a bit.
Well worth a punt at £20.

It might be, but the genuine Mudsling will protect the swing arm better, whereas the copy won't anywhere near so well.
But as you and the others are happy it's all that matters.

Yeah mine arrived too, actually I got a royal mail txt and I didn't know what it was for, anyhow after a quick Google, the company sending it appears to be a UK based outfit despatching Chinese ebay stuff. Thats why it was quick.
Got to wash the bike now after the shit from this morning before I fit it.
Rather than cable ties I fancy trying to get some rubber bungees like the kind that holds on the frame protectors.
Anyone got any ideas where to find some.

That's the bike up on the centre stand when it's on the floor it's much lower

I have had the mudsling copy for a while now and no issues at all.... have recently taken delivery of the front fender extender and bar risers (£48 total including shipping) and I have to say, they are both quality looking items.
The death of Mudsling by the looks of it.
I purchased through aliexpress.com. Do a search under the categories - Auto & Motorcycles / motorcycle accessories & parts / frames & fittings / handlebars then refine the search via BMW. there are a lot of options and worth keeping an eye on as prices change.
and i may be doing my bit to add to the demise maybe but, cash is king i'm afraid.

Here’s the Chinese front fitted today, 6days from China, no rough edges and a perfect fit. Fasteners will probably go so the inner ones that grip the standard fender got a quick dab of smooth rite straight to metal paint and dried off before fitting
