cheap seargent/airhak option

Well putman and sheep skin cover arrived, so set about putting together a cheap option for those long days in the saddle.
attached some elastic to the sheep skin to stop it moving around on the saddle
Put a few puffs of air in the putman as you do with the airhawk and slide it under the sheep skin and replaced the seat. doesnt look to bad but the test will be tomorrow for a quick run down to lands ends

Recently got back from a 3000 mile trip down to Southern Spain and used exactly the same set up as yours Badgerrrrr and it worked a treat mate, and for £20 I would highly reccomend it, enjoy.............

But I'm not altogether sure otherwise. I find it gives me a slighlty detached feeling from the bike.

Maybe its just my imagination, but I don't quite feel the connection when I'm sitting on air.

On the other hand, I'm guessing the Airhawk would feel just the same.

Well just back from my days trial with the above, top job
325 miles round trip down to lands end, would recommed to people for those long trips and alot cheaper than a seargent seat etc.

as for the lamb seat cover, (uncle badger) from http://www.lambland.co.uk/

and with them both on it does make you that little taller

As a long term Airhawk user, less is definitely more when it comes to the amount of air you put in it in it. It almost looks flat when you get it right, and that way you also lose the floating sensation while sitting on the bike, which is a little unnerving.

You should have dropped in, but you'd have to leave the oily on the road, only airheads allowed on the drive
