Hello hello,
Mrs BLL is into the card-making/craft thing. She gets all these craft magazines and other card-making software on PC-formatted CD-roms—trouble is we are Mac-based. Soooooo, we are after a cheap laptop just to open these CD-roms, open and print the pics. No games, no fancy processing stuff, etc, etc.
Where's the cheapest place to get a PC laptop? I've had a look at PC World but they seem to start at £400+ notes. Is there anywhere cheaper?
Ta!

Any special reason why it must be a laptop ?

You can get 'barebones' PC's from @ £120 or so, though often without the screen, or £175 ish with.

You could even get a better spec 'used' with all the bits for less than a ton, if all you want to do is open files and print them.
