Chief Vintage Cruiser.

Be interesting to see what happens with Indian this year.

Love that😍 The PP is by far a better performer but I don’t think it would suit this style of bike.

Apparently they are going to do very well as they are now a stand alone company so can focus on the single brand.

Had a chat with my local dealer last week when they delivered the Himalayan and he was telling me they are selling loads of Indians, mostly Scouts and Chiefs. It’s the big touring bikes that aren’t so popular here.

Mmmm I don't like the big gap between the front of the tank and the headstock but I suppose it's somewhere to keep your butties?

Seat should have been a 'buddy' style and the speedo mounted on top of the tank like earlier Vintage bikes . Apart from those few negatives, I quite like it :thumby:

Surprised to read the engine is 1860cc and the bike has 'modes', including Sport 😳 I like the styling as more than a nod to the heritage machine, and suppose the plethora of modern touch's (satnav, phone connectivity, modes) are harder to dial out than include.

They’ve managed to integrate rear suspension, modern forks and fuel injection quite well. The speedo spoils it - if you’re in the market for something like this, would you not buy because of the speedo??

The speedo wouldn’t put me off, it’s based on the Indian Ride Command system so the screen could be changed to read as a traditional needle sweep type speedo, it can also incorporate sat nav so no need for extra stuff on the bars.

I wouldn't buy one when you could get an earlier Chief Vintage from around 2018 that looks more like the original bike (speedo on the tank) plus it has twin discs, will no doubt come with a shit load of extras and be half the price of a new bike. Bit of a no brainer of you ask me :augie

I like it 😎 pretty cool retro I think. Engine looks great.
No need for a Fenda Extender or mudsling on that beast.
