Chigee AIO-5 Apple Car Play for bikes

Found this product whilst searching YouTube for a Motorcycle Car Play unit. Seems interesting and even has a module which will allow the wonder wheel thing to work with it, although I am not too worried about that. Its a bit expensive but not as much as the Connected Ride Navigator and it includes cameras front and back. Seem to be some early adopters out there on YouTube but it seems like that product isn't publicly available until Feb '24. Don't suppose there is anyone with any experience here? Trying to find out if it will connect to both rider and pillion helmets.

They are doing an early adopter discount that makes them marginally less expensive. I've been dithering about getting some dash cam cameras for ages and also really miss CarPlay that I had on my wing so took the plunge on Boxing Day, including ordering the BMW Wizz wheel thingy. Time will tell if I've wasted my money but on paper it looks really good.

Had an answer off their support last night, it will only connect to one headset unfortunately. Anyone have any experience with Bluetooth splitters?

As a bit of a heads up, if it comes with the external TPMS sensors you could have a problem depending on what wheels/brakes you have. I bought the G3 TPMS from them and the front sensor was hitting the inside of the right hand Brembo brake caliper on my 2023 RS which as the 17" BMW alloy wheels with the valve stem mounted on the side of the alloy spoke rather than in the rim. Chigee were very good and gave me a refund though and said they were going to update their website

When I get home next week I’ve got to farkle my Himmy, including fitting my Chigee AIO Play.

To wire it up you connect the positive and negative leads to the battery ,or in my case a Thunderbox and then you need to tap the yellow wire into an accessory lead or something like the positive lead off a tail light so the Chigee is switched to the ignition .

I note that the Himmy has a red accessory wire under the tank as shown here .

So I need to remove the red dummy and connect a white one like in this vid .

What’s it called ? Ta

Electrics not my strong point .

Found these loose connectors on eBay, with the following part numbers:

2x Male Connectors (DJ7021-2-11)
2x Female Connectors (DJ7021-2-21)
6x Male Terminal Pins (6187-2311)
6x Female Terminal Pins ( 6180-2321)
12x Seals

Typing in numbers into Google, has thrown it out with the following link to AliExpress
On further digging, I have found the following set already attached to wire tails.
You can use this, with either a self soldered joint and some waterproof shrink wrap or buy a set of these. Then all you need is a hot air gun or something similar to melt the solder within.

I have also found This Harnes splitter which does look very similar, you can add it should you wish to use the connector & expand it to use with something else like fog lights.

Somebody else video in the comments was interested to know the name of the connector.

Ta for all that but I was really just after what it was called

I’ll pop down to a local auto elec shop when I’m back to see if they have one . They’re the guys that wired up my 701 LR rally tower and are pretty good.

Might just order come from the Ali express link you found though, in case they don’t have one .Ta
