I have a question regarding these car play systems, I nearly bought a chigee off a member of the parish but when I spoke to chigee the wonder wheel won’t zoom in and out with just rolling it backwards and forth like it does with a nav 6 or WunderLINQ, is this the case for all these car play units?

I have started you a fresh thread, so hopefully someone will see your question.

This is one drawback of using apps such as Google maps via CarPlay. It’s the same in my BMW car. The only way to zoom in and out on the map, is to use the + and - onscreen buttons. You can select these via the wonder wheel, but it’s not as easy as it is with the nav 5/6 or the connectedride nav. Auto zoom appears to work well on the Chigee aio 5 for BMW though.

On a side note. The one ikkje is selling is a bargain for £160

Yes I was going to get that one but the zoom issue put me off.

I use the TomTom app with mine, not sure if that auto zooms at junctions. Using the +/- buttons on screen to zoom, works ok.

Kurviger has Auto Zoom.

Yes, as does scenic which I have but I like to do it manually with the wheel, think I will stick with the WunderLINQ for the time being.
