With these devices are they quickly detachable or permanently attached ,thinking about the security issue if you want to leave the bike while exploring the local area .

My Carpuride fits in the BMW cradle and seems very secure . It’s very easy to remove with the key

I looked at the Aoocci units.
They looked quite cheap until you picked the one that goes on a BMW cradle and then the price is over £350

So might as well buy a premium brand instead of a chinese thing.

As with anything, if you (and nobody else) thinks that any or all of your possessions are at risk, when abandoning your motorcycle to go ‘exploring’, then take the item(s) off the bike and take them with you. A smallish cheap rucksack is very useful for this purpose. Or, put the item(s) into a secure pannier or top box. It really isn’t very difficult.

PS Secure your motorcycle, too. Why? If you don’t, when you return from ‘exploring’, you’ll still (hopefully) have your smallish cheap rucksack, but you might no longer have your motorcycle.
