chippy chip chip

I tried a BB power chip on my last GSA and it did deffinitely make a difference to mid range but I fitted it at the same time as a Y piece so don't know what effect it would of had on it's own.
Timolgra fitted one to his single spark in conjunction with a full remus system and gave favourable feedback.
I haven't bothered on my current bike, just done steptoe's cat code thing.

Offhand I can't remember the name of the performance chip I had on my old single spark, it was made in Austria or Switzerland.
It was like having another half engine fitted right through the range, much more grunt low down and just kept on revving at the top end.
Fuel consumption was slightly higher of course.
I could'nt say whether any of the other chips on the market would have such a dramtic effect, so you'd just have to try it and see.

i fitted a BB chip too a single spark 1150 with full remus and k&n. most noticeable difference was it got louder.

second most noticable difference was, i stopped worrying (probably unnecessarily) about it being too lean.

That was the main reason I fitted the BB chip. It was my first oil head and I was a bit worried about it running lean as there seemed to be a lot of posts about it at the time.

I keep meaning to put my current bike on a dyno for curiosities sake but there always seems to be something else I'd rather do when I have the time:D
