I only mentioned The Griffin as a pre, pre pub venue.
It is a very nice pub with side attractions
The original pub is still the venue as far as I know

I'll be going by train / tube as it costs nowt being an old fart with a bus pass.
however, this morning we are snowed in, road about at least 8 inches deep and it's still comming down. No traffic up here so always the last to get a bit clear, so could be a long walk down the bus stop!. Things one does for a beer!.
So See you all there possibly about 18.00 hrs, at least they don't get snow down the tube!.

I've got a job before and after first job finishes at 18.30 in twickenham second job comes out at 22.30 at the commonwealth club.

Well I'll be getting the train into London on Thursday, if the damn things are running....oh, if the tube's are on strike as well, that's going make for an interesting journey....still, the thought of everyone's smiling faces will be motivation enough to overcome the transport challenges.... bollox, meant to say beer & chinese grub...MERRY XMAS TO ALL

looks like i might have to run in the van anywhere to park it there?
Next to the Tai Pan yes - outside on the main road or on the side street next to the pub.
Three Lords - lots of street parking but not sure when the meters stop so could be expensive.
Don't forget the "congestion" charge!
