They have reserved me a table for 10 persons at 20:00. But they do need to know the final numbers ASAP.

Eight o'clock gives us plenty of time for beers before. We can always go on for beers afterwards, heading back towards the City.

As an alternative I have also spoken to the Red Chilli curry house, 137 Leman Street. Close to Aldgate / Aldgate East / Tower Hill / Liverpool and Fenchurch Street railway stations and the pubs...

They can do us a table for eight or ten at 20:00.

Again, I will need to let them know ASAP.

I would be happy with either of those, if anything Fenchurch St is easier for me to get too, but I will go with the masses :beerjug:

If it is Chinese you are after, the Sinh Le in Minories is the best in the City according to a Chinese colleague of mine (better even than Imperial City).

It is at the "top" of Minories (Aldgate end). I use it quite a bit and it is very good. Two mins walk from Aldgate / Fenchurch Street / Liverpool Street and not a million miles from The Swan in Leadenhall Market. :thumb
