Well blimey I only asked if anyone wanted to go for a ride and it kinda took off
A huge huge thanks to Steve, Clive and Paul,
also Steves family for being there last night and this morning making it such a good day.
Set off for Andover yesterday late morning on the Basic and bloody hell it has to have been the coldest ride for a good few years.
Arrived at The Cricketers to meet Sid and warmed ourselves by the fire witha few beers
Accomodation was nice (even though I could hear Sid snore through the walls) ...
Johnnyboxer turned up, Richard and John arrived (hope I got the name right), Bakes, Becky and Fletcher arrived
and Gary (Skygod) arrived just as we were ready to eat. The food and drink was lovely as was the company.
This morning was cold, f*cking cold ....
We had guessed that given the weather there would be about 5 bikes turn up, imagine our smiles as we arrived at the bakery.
Out on to the plain and Pauls group (me) arrived on the concrete road minutes after four of Clives hit the deck at the bottom of the hill.
It was seriously slippery, and a touch of the brake saw the bikes break away.
Possu holes his engine casing.
Flipfly takes to the grass (nice suit, can you see him?)
And Russ Malkin arrived in the support truck
Pinkytiff is now called BrokenPinkytiff
And we eventually get going again.
And onto Imber to meet up with the others.

From Imber some stayed on the trails others started on their way home.
Sid had hurt his knee and was almost hyperthermic after getting soaked in water breaking some ice with the KTM so JB, Sid
and I headed back to the pub where I couldn't face a sub zero ride home and hitched a lift.
For anyone who would rather enjoy the Plain (a completely different place) in July's sunshine then this is the place for you .....
