In a fit of extravagance a month ago, I filled up with the more expensive Miles plus petrol in my local circle K petrol station. At least I think it's called that. It's the more expensive option at any rate.
I noticed within a few miles that the bike was running smoother, quieter, had better acceleration at lower revs. The bike was nearly empty when I filled it, it took in 19 litres. All in all worth the extra 7 cents a litre. Now, I hear some of you cry SNAKE OIL
. But I filled up yesterday with normal petrol from the same garage and the bike is back to the way it was before. I put in nearly 19 litres. I'm going to continue to use the more expensive stuff in future. I can't comment on getting more milage per gallon but I do believe my bike runs better on it.
Anyone else have a similar experience?
