The nice people at Garmin have sent me the City Navigator Europe V8 DVD.
I have loaded and unlocked the contents of the DVD onto my PC, no problem.
I then highlighted all the maps using the 'Map tool' and asked the PC to send all the maps to my BMW Motorrad Navigator II GPS device. The PC went through most of the process and started to send the maps to the Motorrad Navigator II GPS device, but it never completed. I know that the Navigator II was receiving the data, as it told me it was. I tried again, no joy.
On starting the Navigator II is now receive a message, 'Maps are not accessible', I guess meaning that the maps are not loaded at all or that all the maps are not loaded.
The Motorrad Navigator II GPS device has a 2.0 GB compact flash card properly installed.
Is it that a need a bigger card?
Anyone got any ideas?
Thanks,
Richard (Wapping) Nash
